About Us

At a time when Black students lacked a cohesive support system that was aware of their Pomona College experiences, this Black Student Union has been created by Black students for Black students to acknowledge the plurality. This BSU aims to validate all identities represented within this Black community - past, present, and future. A BSU should actively engage Alumni as well as current students, keeping multiple generations connected and informed. All discourse, dealings and dialogues will be predicated on improving the campus atmosphere. By stressing inclusivity, creating sustainable legacies, and enacting change, this Black Student Union will be the agency that Pomona College currently cannot provide.
